H03VV-F is a mobile service cable for small portable appliances. The most common conditions of use are in domestic premises, kitchens, offices, subject to weak mechanical stress, for powering light portable appliances such as: - radio appliances; - table and free-standing lighting fixtures; - office machines. Lightweight under-sheathed cables can be used when great flexibility is required as long as there is no particular risk of mechanical damage.

H05VV-F is a cable for mobile service with medium mechanical stresses. The most common conditions of use are in domestic premises, kitchens, offices, subject to medium mechanical stresses, for supplying power to domestic appliances, including wet ones such as washing machines, dryers and refrigerators. Suitable for cooking and heating appliances, provided it does not come in contact with hot parts and is not subject to radiation. Not suitable for outdoor use, in industrial or agricultural environments, or for non-domestic portable tools.
