G24q Fluorescents

G24q* compact energy-saving lamps exist with different G24q socket patterns; in fact, the distinctions G24q-1, G24q-2, and G24q-3 refer to the placement of two tabs that allow the lamp to engage. They do not need starters and operate on electronic ballasts. They are universally recognized as lamps with a four-pin (PIN) socket arranged as in the pictures above. The G24q socket should be distinguished from the GX24q socket, which is similar but not the same, in fact the G24q lamps on this page cannot be used to replace GX24q lamps. The energy savings of 80% compared to the light output of incandescent lamps.
