Halogen lamps are an incandescent lamp that differs in some characteristics from ordinary incandescent lamps. However, the operating principle of halogen lamps is identical to that of traditional light bulbs. The advantages of halogen lamps are excellent color rendering, low cost, wide diffusion and ease of use. In fact, if you are fond of the warm tones of old light bulbs, you can find in our halogen lamps an excellent alternative without sacrificing design. Although they are on the way out according to European directives they still have a lot to say, in fact they are increasingly efficient with a significantly wider range and duration. Only one recommendation: avoid touching the halogen bulb with your fingers because the grease deposited at the time of ignition can cause the lamp to break. Should this happen, simply clean the glass surface with alcohol. Starting from 1 September 2018, non-directional halogen lamps for domestic use will no longer be manufactured as they no longer meet the eco-design requirements set out in Phase 6 of Regulation (EC) No. 244/2009, and amendments to the same contained in the regulation ( EU) No. 2015/1428, effective from that date.
