Description
AcquaSIL 2/15® is an aqueous solution of polyphosphates compliant with the EN 1212:2005 standard specifically for the treatment of drinking water and is used to prevent scale build-up and has an anti-corrosive action, avoiding the phenomenon of “red water” in systems supplied with hard water.
Through a mechanism known as the “threshold effect”, polyphosphates, if present in water in concentrations of a few mg/l, interfere with the crystallization phenomena of carbonates, hindering the formation of scale.
