These devices are widely used in the tertiary/industrial sector, in systems with electronic equipment capable of generating hazardous continuous components. They also have greater resistance to noise and atmospheric discharge than standard residual current circuit breakers.
They are capable of not intervening in the event of leakage in the system to ground of a temporary type that occurs when electronic equipment with filters present in the power supply stages of the most common consumer equipment such as PCs, decoders, variable speed electronic appliances (air conditioners, washing machines, etc.), lamp feeders and dimmers are turned on.
