The external galvanized grid is equipped with an earthing device: in the event of splashes of water or other, the current passes from the high voltage grid to the protection grid and therefore to earth, avoiding damaging whoever caused the splash.

If the external protection grills are removed, a safety switch cuts off the power to the appliance.

The 2 powerful 40W UV-A lamps generate a light output of 80W for a useful irradiation of approximately 850m2. The lamp holders are watertight, in order to avoid the access of polluting agents which could hinder the perfect functioning of the lamps.
