Description
The Fischer FC 8 K is a high-quality diamond drill bit, designed to meet the challenges of drilling on extremely hard and delicate surfaces such as porcelain stoneware, tiles, ceramics and glass.
Its diamond-tipped cutting edge ensures precise and clean drilling, preventing chipping of tiles, a crucial aspect when working with certain materials. One of the most innovative features of this drill is its ability to drill dry, meaning without the use of water or other coolants. This is made possible by a special internal wax that, melting during drilling, not only lubricates the work area but also binds the dust produced, eliminating the need for vacuuming and keeping the environment clean.
The cutter features a crown (or "cup") design, optimized for creating clean, circular holes. The 8.3 mm hex shank ensures a secure and stable fit in the power tool's chuck, reducing slippage and improving control during operation.
For optimal use, it is recommended to start drilling at a slight angle and then straighten the cutter as it penetrates the material.
