Description
PEX-b/AL/PEX-b multilayer metal pipe with thermal insulation, internal layer of PEX-b (cross-linked polyethylene), intermediate layer of aluminum longitudinally welded (butt-butt) with laser/TIG technology, external layer of PEX- b (cross-linked polyethylene).
The intermediate layers of glue homogeneously join the aluminum layer to the PEX layers and the presence of the aluminum layer guarantees a safe barrier against oxygen and other gases, as well as giving the product excellent resistance to crushing .
The insulating layer is protected by a characteristic external covering film of red or blue color for the heating pipe and light gray color for the heating and cooling pipe.
The application classes are 1, 2, 4, 5 (suitable for the transport of drinking water), the minimum operating temperature is -60 °C (in any case above the freezing temperature of the transported fluid), maximum operating temperature of 95÷100 °C, maximum operating pressure 10 bar and thermal conductivity of 0.04 W/m K.
