Description
Hydraulic backflow preventer to be used to protect drinking water systems from pressure backflow, backflow and counter-siphoning phenomena.
Liquids up to category 3 (inclusive) according to EN 1717 are protected. The CA295 model is divided into three zones: inlet, intermediate and outlet zone.
When the differential pressure between the inlet zone and the intermediate zone drops below 10% of the inlet pressure, the backflow preventer diverts the flow through the intermediate zone to the discharge.
There is no possibility to check the safety system by measurement.
