Pixsys 2000.90.516 - PT100 probe 6x200 with DIN/B head

The 2000.90.516 temperature probe is a precision resistance thermometer designed for demanding industrial applications. With a nominal resistance of 100 ohms at 0°C and an accuracy of ±0.15°C, this probe ensures reliable and precise measurements. The Class B PT100 sensor offers excellent stability, with a coefficient of variation of 0.00385 ohms per °C.

The probe structure features an AISI 316L stainless steel sheath with a diameter of 6 mm and an immersion length of 200 mm, making it ideal for a wide range of applications.

The standardized DIN/B head in EN AC 46100 aluminum facilitates installation on various industrial equipment, ensuring compatibility and ease of use. A distinctive aspect of this probe is the internal insulation in magnesium oxide (MgO), which ensures high insulation resistance (>20 MΩ at 25°C with 500 Vdc), protecting the sensor from electrical interference and improving measurement accuracy. The anti-corrosion treatment without hexavalent chromium and the epoxy-polyester or polyester painting (minimum thickness of 80 microns) provide superior durability, even in aggressive environments.

The probe is designed to operate over a temperature range of -100°C to +500°C, with a fast response time of 6.5 seconds, compliant with BS 1904/1984/IEC60751. The IP66 rating of the DIN/B head ensures effective resistance to dust and water ingress, making the probe suitable for harsh industrial environments.

The process connection can be made by means of a 1/2 gas or 1/4 gas "Nipple", referring to the size of the thread welded under the DIN head. Alternatively, a sliding Nipple with pressure lock can be used, which allows it to be fixed in place once the probe has been installed at the desired immersion depth, making installation and removal easier.

This probe is particularly suitable for sectors such as food and beverage production, building automation, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, where accuracy and reliability in temperature measurement are essential.
